The 2027 Range Rover Electric Is Now Orderable in the U.S. — With a 333-Mile EPA Estimate

The 2027 Range Rover Electric is now orderable in the United States. Range Rover’s current U.S. product page says the electric SUV is “available to order now” and exposes a live Build and Reserve flow.¹

The same page lists an estimated all-electric range of up to 333 miles under the EPA standard and warns that actual range will vary.¹ The meaningful Sept. 1 change is therefore the current U.S. order path and market-specific product information, rather than another preview of a vehicle whose launch had already been planned.

JLR had already said in June that Range Rover Electric would launch later in 2026.² The timing also follows an earlier delay: Reuters reported in July 2025, citing reporting by The Guardian, that Range Rover Electric deliveries had been pushed from an earlier late-2025 target into 2026.³ The fresh development is the current U.S. ordering state, not the existence of the vehicle itself.

What the U.S. page says about charging

Range Rover says the Electric uses an 800-volt battery architecture and can add up to 125 miles of range in a 10-minute top-up.¹ Those are manufacturer performance claims, not independent charging-test results, so they should not be read as a guaranteed result under every charger, battery-temperature or state-of-charge condition.

The company’s U.S. FAQ also says Range Rover Electric drivers will have access to a public charging network that includes Tesla Superchargers.¹ The page does not establish that every Tesla Supercharger location or stall is compatible, so the narrower claim is the one that matters: Tesla’s network is included in the charging access Range Rover currently advertises for the U.S. vehicle.

Range Rover also lists an eight-year or 100,000-mile battery warranty, whichever comes first, subject to its terms and exclusions.¹

The starting price is not cleanly resolved yet

The current launch coverage does not agree on the exact U.S. starting price including destination.

Kelley Blue Book reports a $140,550 MSRP and says that figure includes a $2,550 destination fee.⁴ Car and Driver also reports a $140,550 starting price.⁵ Edmunds, however, reports $140,450 and says its figure assumes the same $2,450 destination-and-handling charge as the rest of the Range Rover lineup.⁶ Range Rover’s current U.S. footer separately lists a $2,450 destination-and-handling charge for Range Rover generally, but the Electric’s dynamic base-price field was not directly inspectable in the research used for this article.¹

That $100 conflict is why this article is not presenting either secondary figure as the definitive current U.S. starting price. A directly inspectable Electric configurator or U.S. pricing sheet can resolve it later without guessing now.

Ordering is open; a U.S. delivery date is still a separate question

Range Rover’s U.S. page establishes that ordering is open, but the current official page reviewed for this story does not provide a specific first-customer U.S. delivery date.¹ Ordering availability therefore should not be turned into a claim that deliveries have begun or that a particular delivery month is guaranteed.
